| Ulcer
of the nose of a patient who had a returning = recurrent basal-cell cancer
following the failed alleged "Mohs" surgery of a then-prominent South
Florida dermatologist. The doctor did not inform this patient that he
(the doctor) was not a member of the American COLLEGE of Mohs Micrographic
Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology NOR had he (the doctor) trained at an accredited
Mohs fellowship as a fellow for the approved time period. Patients are
cautioned to check any doctor's credentials for Mohs Surgery with the
COLLEGE (web address and phone number in text) to root out doctors who
do not perform true Mohs surgery as per Medicare criteria. Often these
doctors process patients' tissues for "Mohs" to a mobile lab in a truck.

A returning
basal cell cancer of the nose following MOHS surgery performed by the
doctor. Americans are cautioned to seek MOHS surgery performed only
by members of the American COLLEGE of MOHS Surgery. The doctor did not
tell this patient that he was not a member of the American COLLEGE of
MOHS Surgery. Additionally, the doctor did not have any continual formal
MOHS surgery training lasting the amount of time that members of the
American COLLEGE of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology
(formal and complete title of the College) have. The tumor was later
removed by proper/true/official MOHS surgery performed by the author
and later grafted to repair the defect due to the large loss of tissue
on the nose.
